This was achieved by Integrating actual meter readings and meter events with the SAP customer care and billing system and Integration between SAP and Itron MDMS and the technical Advanced Metering Infrastructure .

Setup the configuration for SLT in source system and activation webdynpro and SLT replicator services to replicate data from ECC to SLT server in real time ..

In addition to my primary role as the SAP Basis Administrator I was also the Techno Functional SME on this project. The SAP components that I setup  were ECC6.0 EHP5 and SAP PI. Platform was IBM Power system AIX LPAR’s running DB2 on Linux RHEL. On the basis side I had setup up the hardware, RHEL6.2, Db2 Database and SAP ERP ,PI and SRM . On technical side I did the web service integration for purchase orders. On the SAP functional side I did the vendor master configuration and setup the master and transactional data for purchase requisitions and orders that were transferred to the Black and Veatch Fuel Management system.

This data is passed back to SAP R/3 via IBM’s WBI SAP adapter in the Websphere Suite.

The EDI error handler development was one of the most complex objects comprising of several customer enhancements, user exits and module pool interfaces for different screens pertaining to different functional areas (external ship to cross referencing, sales order IDoc display, order and item level maintenance).

This was an SRM EBP (Enterprise Buyers Professional) SAP implementation with the second largest Japanese auto maker. Following ALE activities carried out :
• Set up the ALE Layer infrastructure (logical systems, distribution model, client configuration).
• Set up the ALE configuration for WBS and internal orders using IDOC message types to replicate orders from the sending system.
• Set up standard SAP messages for Vendor Master, cost centers, GL Accounts and Material Master distribution. For Vendor Master replication, IDoc serialization was incorporated. For Material Master replication, a different distribution model to enable materials was maintained and transferred from sending to receiving systems and vice versa.
